From 1-6 July, Kristin will take her boyfriend Daniel to Brazil to experience the World Cup. Her video went all the way to the top in Hydro and NRJ's Instagram contest. In the course of one week, over a hundred submissions were sent in with the hashtag #nrjhydroadelen on Instagram.
The contest was held to celebrate the artist Adelén's World Cup song "Olé". Contestants were supposed to perform tricks with an aluminium drink can and the prize for the best video was a trip for two to Brazil and the World Cup.
"I've always wanted to go to Brazil. It seems like a very exciting and colorful country. Experiencing Brazil during the World Cup will be incredibly fun," says the winner.
Recycling
As part of the competition, bonus points could be earned if a recycling element was added to the video submission. Many of the contestants knew that the aluminium used in drink cans can be recycled over and over again. Kristin chose to show that aluminium is also found several thousand meters up in the sky.
"Aluminium can be used in many things. Instead of simply showing drink cans as a recycling element, I decided to go on a plane. The metal is used there as well, and since the first prize included a flight to Brazil, I thought the plane fit well," says Kristin.
Both Kristin and her boyfriend are interested in football and the World Cup, and together they will now get to experience the great public celebration up close.
"Taking a trip like this together could not have come at a better time. On July 21 my boyfriend starts his military service, so this will be a perfect farewell," says Kristin.
